Welcome

The North Eastern branch (NE) of the Irish Patchwork Society (IPS) is based in Dundalk.  Our first meeting of 2024 / 2025 takes place on Tuesday 10th September 2024, 10am to 12.30am in the Bridge Club, Ramparts Road.  Guests are welcome to two meetings before they join as members of the IPS; door charge  €7 for guests and €5 for members. At our September meeting we will have a “Show-and-Tell” of members’ work, discuss IPS and our branch plans for the coming year, tea / coffee will be available.  

We generally meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month and work on a variety of individual projects, IPS and branch challenges and learn from our many experienced Quilters and Patchworkers.  Occasional demonstrations and / or workshops by our own branch members will continue as will our very popular "Sit and sew" mornings, 4th Tuesday.  We hope to welcome guest speakers for talks, demonstrations and / or workshops. This may necessitate meeting on a Saturday, advance notice will be given at our meetings and our whatsapp group.
