The Western Branch are delighted to be back meeting in person. There are some changes to the venues for our meetings. Please check below for details.
WESTERN BRANCH IRISH PATCHWORK SOCIETY
CONNACHT HOTEL DUBLIN ROAD GALWAY
Our meetings take place in Galway city and currently our members come from Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Mayo, Westmeath, Sligo, Laois, Sweden and the USA
We are delighted to say that we are back meeting in person . However our usual venue is not currently available to us due to Covid 19 restrictions. Instead we will be meeting in the Connacht Hotel Dublin Road Galway on November 13th
At our November meeting members can choose to make one from 6 mini workshops on a Christmas theme. Just make sure to have your own hand- sewing kit (Scissors, needles, thread pins).
In the afternoon we will be sewing together blocks for two charity quilts.

We will have a Christmas decoration swap (make a small decoration and swap for another.
As space is limited we won't have a shop but instead a Members fabric Swap. You never know, your unloved fabric could be someone else's heart's desire.

Get the year off to a good start by clearing out your UFO (Un-Finished Objects) meeting, or if you prefer your Phds (Projects Half Done).
At this meeting you can bring along your pieces for advice and encouragement about finishing them. All orphan blocks welcome.
