Western Branch

Our meetings take place in Galway city and currently our branch members hail from Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Mayo, Westmeath, Sligo, Sweden and the USA                         

The venue for our meetings is the Galway Bridge Centre St Mary's Road Galway H91 C2C3  from 10am - 12.30

Our meetings feature guest speakers, a show and tell of members' recent work and visiting shops with  patchwork and quilting supplies.....and a welcoming cuppa on arrival.

The next meeting of the Western Branch will take place on:

Saturday December 13th from 10am - 12.30pm

in the Galway Bridge Centre. H91 C2C3.

THIs meeting will see lots of fun as we host our Christmas Party.

  • There will be mini handsewn workshops presented by branch members. Please bring your own small sewing kit (needles, scissors, thread).

  •
  • If you would like to take part on a session of Fat Quarter Bingo please bring two fat quarters of fabric and a pen/pencil.


  • You are also invited to bring a handmade decoration for the Christmas Tree swap.

There will be a Show and Tell of members' recent work and of course a raffle.

The meeting will finish with a sharing lunch. 

Admission at the door is €5. Please bring notes only, no coins. Thank you.
