Our meetings take place in Galway city and currently our branch members hail from Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Mayo, Westmeath, Sligo, Sweden and the USA The venue for our meetings is the Galway Bridge Centre St Mary's Road Galway H91 C2C3 from 10am - 12.30 Our meetings feature guest speakers, a show and tell of members' recent work and visiting shops with patchwork and quilting supplies.....and a welcoming cuppa on arrival. If you'd like to join us for our March meeting of the Western Branch, it will take place on: Saturday March 14th from 10am - 12.30pm in the Galway Bridge Centre. H91 C2C3. We will give a warm welcome to Moya with her lovely shop Patchwork Plus.
Our own Nessa McMahon is our speaker this month. Nessa is a prolific quilter and we look forward to hearing her account of her quilting journey. In the afternoon Moya will deliver a workshop on curved piecing for members. There may still  be availability on the workshop. The design features elegant curve piecing that creates movement, depth and striking visual contrast Don’t forget to return any library books taken out over the last year.
