Our meetings take place in Galway city and currently our branch members hail from Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Mayo, Westmeath, Sligo, Sweden and the USA The venue for our meetings is the Galway Bridge Centre St Mary's Road Galway H91 C2C3 from 10am - 12.30 Our meetings feature guest speakers, a show and tell of members' recent work and visiting shops with patchwork and quilting supplies.....and a welcoming cuppa on arrival. Exhibition News The Western Branch members have work on show for the month of June at Ballinasloe Library, Society St, Townparks, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 T320. Ph 091 509551. It a lovely airy venue, perfect for showing off our work. Everyone is welcome to drop by and see our work. Admission is free and opening hours are as follows. 
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11 am–1 pm, 2–5 pm Thursday 11 am–1 pm, 2–7 pm Late Opening Saturday 10 am–1 pm, 2–5 pm Closed Sunday and Monday

The Western Branch are delighted to be hosting the 2026 IPS National AGM on June 20th and 21st in the Connacht Hotel Galway. We look forward to giving a warm welcome to members from around the country.
August 14th to 23rd 2026. This event is part of August Craft Month. The theme of the exhibition will be the Connemara National Park and all pieces will be inspired by the history, scenery, flora and fauna of the Park.
