We are a group of patchworkers and quilters who love to share our projects and meet every month in six branches around the country.
Our branches hold monthly meetings, where we enjoy invited guest speakers, show-and-tell, demonstrations on a project, block or technique, challenges & swaps, lending library, visiting shops, not to mention the tea and banter.
We offer full- and half-day workshops by visiting teachers and experienced members of our branches. Workshops range from the basics of patchwork to advanced textile art techniques.
In addition to branch exhibitions, the IPS National Exhibition is held every two years, as well as the Hands Across the Border exhibition, which is jointly organised by IPS and Quilters' Guild of Northern Ireland.
As well as regular updates and branch news, the newsletter contains book reviews, techniques, patterns and member profiles.
